Last weekend, us at MSIMA put together the very first Mis-Shift Road Rally. To be specific, this was a TSD Rally, which awards points based off of how far off the target average speed is between each sector. Consider it the most legal automotive racing you could do on public roads. This was the first attempt by our team to design a route, write directions and run the event. With all things considered, it was a success!

The route ran for about an hour and a half with 5 total stops, driving through some windy roads with interesting checkpoints. 5 cars with a driver and co-driver participated, and the competition was fierce. 1 car got very lost, 1 car drove twice the speed limit everywhere and another overtook 4 of the 5 other competitors. However, our winners ran a good race getting the closest overall to the average speeds set by MSIMA.
This was only the first running, expect more comprehensive, better written and more complete wrap-ups to follow!
