One of 2022’s most hotly anticipated releases is the long-awaited Nike One. This mega car was revealed way back in 2004, it featured 4 electric motors with a twist: the power came from the person driving. The incredible engineers at Nike have been working on some wearable tech that uses the drivers movements to produce the 250+HP to move the car. Not only can it move, but it can apparently move up past 200 MPH, but it depends on how well YOU provide the power. No workout=no speed. Maybe that’ll convince me to get out of bed and on my feet. Anyways, the driver is less of a driver and more of a rider, because the seating position is like an ATV, straddling the car. The body opens like a clamshell to get in.

All of this sounds like the makings of a next-generation EV masterpiece by a powerhouse in the field, but due to the radical design, it seems to have been stuck in development hell for almost 2 decades now. It is suspected arguments within Nike on how to get the One up to code (particularly over the wing mirrors) have kept the car in a stalemate. Although Nike claims the Nike One will be released in 2022, we are expecting tesla-style delays for at least a few more months. However, when it does eventually arrive, I might need to pick my fat ass up to take a ride!
