In preparation for the new 2023 season and the debut of the GTP class, IMSA is holding a massive celebration leading up to the Rolex 24.

The festivities are not limited to vendors stalls, manufactures booths, live music, and a fair held during the roar before the 24, but also a slew of contests and giveaways to the casual IMSA fan. The expectation is that these moves and events will not only hype up the new LMDH class, but also bring in new interest to the series.

Prizes include free tickets, team merchandise, entree into parade laps, and even free trips to other races. On the more extreme end, some manufactures are offering a free car to some lucky individuals. Corvette is holding a raffle for its 65+ owners club, with the grand prize being a red c7 stingray.

The zenith of these prizes must be from IMSA themselves. One “super-race-fan” will get the chance to win a free Picchio DP2 with the purchase of pit passes for the Rolex 24. The car will come with whatever spares where offered on RaceCarsDirect.com, and includes an entree spot for the 2023 HSR 24 Classic at Daytona in November.
