All over the US, multiple 3rd generation Chevrolet Cavaliers have been spotted deep within the woods, specifically around the Appalachian Mountain area. What does this mean, where are they coming from, and what do they have planned? This is what I will break down in a 3 part deep-dive into the mysterious sightings of the Cavalier.

Part 1: What is Happening?

The first step of understanding what is going on is to hear the testimonies from the locals. Starting off with a certain unnamed hillbilly deep in North Carolina:

“I was mindin’ my own business in them dark backwoods, when I saw a Chevy Cavalier glidin’ through the trees. But here’s the kicker, folks: that car was empty, not a soul in sight. It moved like a ghost, twistin’ and turnin’ with unnatural grace. The air turned cold as I watched it disappear into the mist, leavin’ me with an eerie feelin’ that somethin’ otherworldly was afoot. That Chevy Cavalier, hauntin’ the backwoods with its mysterious ways, still haunts my nightmares to this day.”

This just gives you an idea of what these mysterious vehicles are up to. From hundreds of testimonies, these abandoned and forgotten 4-wheeled machines are causing all kinds of chaos and disappearing without a trace. Another attribute of the Cavalier sightings involve what some call “shape shifting”. These Cavaliers seem to be half car, half something else to try and hide their true form, most time to no avail. Rarer then the chaotic ghost version, this skinwalkerish variation migrates closer to civilization and seems to try and move much more quietly.

Part 2: The Evidence

Very few photos or evidence exist of the ghost cavaliers, but here I have collected some irrefutable pieces to look over and analyze:

This first picture is by far the highest quality photo ever taken of the elusive figure. Clearly deep in the woods, the photographer clearly spooked the thing into bolting back into the forrest, when a single picture of it diving into the mud was captured.

The photographer of this picture was actually found dead, with this being the last picture on the camera lying next to the body. It’s clear what occurred, a pair of Cavaliers encountered a human and maybe looking for blood or livers.

This is what kicked off the chase. Perhaps this is the golden goose sighting. Taken from a trail-cam in the backwoods of a North Carolina farm, this teal-colored Cav has been caught floating in midair. This has become the clearest sign of unnatural Cavalier activity and shows how serious this problem has become.

Part 3: The Reasoning

Why has the Chevrolet Cavalier, of all things, gained sentience and terrorizes humans specifically in the deep woods? There are a few theories going around, but us at MSIMA have narrowed into what seems to be the clearest:

Getting back at civilization for treating them the way they have. For years, generations even, the Chevrolet Cavalier has been used as the butt of a joke. They’ve all ended up around the deep south of our old US of A, to live out a life of death and despair. Does the car deserve such a life, being used for farm runabouts and monster truck crushing? Who knows, but what has been shown over the last few months is that the Cavalier themselves certainly don’t appreciate it. So much agony and pain, to the point they feel the only retribution to avenge their fallen brothers is to terrorize and haunt the backwoods.
