The new GR86 was spotted today in the new Minecraft Snapshot 12.56.9

Famed Minecraft YouTuber and car enthusiast DanTDM (the diamond minecart) recently revealed while playing a new prerelease of the game, that the developers have partnered with Toyota have have hidden a new GR86 within every new world.

The car seats 4, and is only available in game as a manual. However, unlike it’s real life counterpart, it is the fastest car on the planet, for it is the only car currently in the game.

Players should be expected to find the GR86 buried at the center of a random mountain, with the only clue being a single cherry tree marking its approximate location above ground.

We’ve reached out to Toyota for a comment, only to be put on the phone with Akio Toyoda himself.

“I’ve actually been playing Minecraft since before they added horses to the game, so it’s been great fun to work with my g’s over in Mojang”, he said, “and we’ve actually been able to take a lot away from this partnership”.

No wonder the new Landcruiser is so square.

Mr. Toyoda declined to share more about their partnership with Mojang, however we have been told to keep our eyes and ears ready for Minecon 2024.
