In Confused Acquisition, Apple Buys iRacing

“We first were gonna sue”, says Apple, inc. CEO Tim Cook, “However, after having filed the lawsuit, we realized that iRacing had nothing to do with an Apple i-product.”

Tim looked a bit concerned.

“The legal case we submitted began to drag on as our lawyers continued to fight after I asked it be dismissed. Months went on through confusing private acquisitions, attempts where made on people’s lives, and at one point the Belgian government had to intervene”.

The case was settled out of court. In a move to save face, Apple acquired iRacing before the details of this confusing and fairly embarrassing legal battle became public.

“A few changes will be made in order to better incorporate the acquisition into our family of i-products”.

Users will notice an updated UI and more on-brand colors. The changes made are in order to test the waters for feedback as the team is now hard at work developing both Mac and iOS compatible versions.

“We aim to not only introduce an iRacing app, but to also push forwards the development of iRacing 2, with some minor backend tweaks, better photo rendering, and a readjustment to pricing”.

While no further news was gathered on the sequel to iRacing, sim racers world wide can now wake up to see that their accounts have been migrated over to use an Apple ID.

“Integration was important to us, as such all iRacing accounts have been moved over to use a new or existing Apple ID.”

Racers can now enjoy iRacing browsing your Apple Music history, as well as notify your devices about software updates.

Finally, apple is looking at developing an iWheel, with Bluetooth and lighting cable connection to a user’s device to move iRacing away from relying on third party systems.
