Leaked plans of Dodge’s new Motorsport Technical Center in Concord North Carolina have stunned the motorsports world.
The new facility is the latest investment by a major auto manufacturer to ship their motorsports programs to the Charlotte, N.C. area. Their new tech center is looking to bring whatever is left of Dodge’s, Ram’s, Chrysler’s, Jeep’s, and the cremated remains of SRT’s motorsports and performance car efforts under one roof. They’re following the trends set by Ford, Chevy and Toyota, who have all moved most of their race support and R&D into NASCAR country.

The first tenants of the tech center will support all levels of NASCAR competition. However the new facility is expected to host their rumored plans for Chrysler’s Le Mans Hypercar effort, Jeep’s Baja and Dakar programs, and Dodge-Ram’s F1 ambitions. Aerodynamic development, simulators, workshops, garages, an engine dyno, and a K&C rig were all spotted and expected in the leaked site plans.
However, Dodge (Fiat-Chr– no sorry fuck me— Stellantis) really spared no expense here. In order to attract talent to their fledgling program (and away from GM), Dodge isn’t just relying on competitive pay. They went all out it seems.

A sushi bar, several out door grills, and a brick pizza oven were spotted in the building plans to complement the full restaurant grade kitchen. This is in addition to the movie theatre, car museum, chapel, pin ball arcade, child daycare, gym, and full spa.

We reached out to local our Stellantis U.S. representative, who told us:
“We will try whatever it damn takes to get you people to buy our cars again. No cost is too big, especially after what happened with the new Charger… we need to be WINNERS GOD DAMN IT! WINNERS!”.
The crown jewel of these “synergistically implemented human oriented quality of life workplace enhancements” would be the “jacuzzi cave”. The plans show an underground hot tub large enough for around twenty people. It is built under the super computer used for CFD work, with heating coming from the HPC’s cooling loop. Very forward thinking, Dodge.

We at MSIMA wish Dodge the best of luck with whatever their endeavors are. Now if you excuse me, I’ve got a resume to submit.
