After the failure of Ace Cafe Orlando, a series of late night handicapped bathroom stall deals occurred to see the location change many hands, names, and assholes, until the IRS was throughly bamboozled.
The outcome, however, is that unlike Palm Beach Intentional Raceway, Ace Cafe Orlando gets a second chance! Now known as Car Cafe, they aim to step up the focus on the gearhead lifestyle by bringing customers one step closer to their machines: they will use cars to cook.
After talking with the brainchild of Car Cafe, a 17 year old kid who drives a Mustang, we have deduced how the process will work:
It starts when you pull in, each car has a special bay where an attendant hooks up an apparatus to the exhaust port. This will act as a steamer for the steamed veggies on the main course. Another step is to pop the hood, and the attendant will then put a Publix steak ontop of the engine bay. This puts YOU in control of the temperature, allowing the customer to rev the engine until they’re satisfied with the temperature of the steak.
There’s even a special menu for cars with special features. The one in particular that stood out to us was the flat plate. Using a car with black leather heated seats, Car Cafe converts this source of heat and discomfort into delicious eggs over easy!
I don’t know about you, but us at Mis-Shift can’t wait to get our hands and taste buds on this new culinary experience!
