After revealing their updated nextgen NASCAR (now clothed in the new dark horse body), Ford also made a special announcement.

Ford is releasing a limited run “homologation” package for the 2024 mustang dark wing. Owners can expect a bump in power, new BBS wheels, and a unique Red-White-&-Blue interior. More interestingly, Homologation package will also feature the sharp new bodywork seen on the Cup car.

We reached out to ford to see why sudden desire to make a NASCAR homologation since no one has bothered to do so in decades.

“We just thought we’d give our fans some bring unique, our ford contact said. “Our stylists did a phenomenal job with the car, and we just want to celebrate that”.

We asked if there was any technical changes that required an update to the road car. We were told “ There’s nothing else going on with this strikingly sharp design, so please flatten your accusations and shut up.”
