2017 Ford Taurus Sues for Being Born

Breaking news coming from the court room, the automotive world has been shocked by the surprising decision of one particular 2017 Ford Taurus. Somehow, this specific forgettable Taurus is suing the Ford Motor Company just for being born. The affidavit states it “hates its existence” and liked the experience to “being born disabled”. The suit claims negligence, emotional distress, and violation of its right to not be brought into existence.

“Being a 2017 Ford Taurus is a rough life, and I feel like the Ford Motor Company just set me up for failure from day one. I was forced into existence against my will, subjected to the whims of corporate greed and shareholder interests. Frankly, I’m tired of it and want my rightful piece of the pie.”

The Taurus further alleges that its existence has been plagued by a litany of issues, including lackluster sales, outdated design and a general sense of being overshadowed by more popular models within the Ford lineup. ”I’ve been regulated to the status of an afterthought, a relic of a bygone era” the Taurus lamented.

Legal experts weighed in on the potential outcome, and they seem divided on the subject. Apparently, the Taurus might have a case under the emerging field of vehicular rights law studies. The question in the law’s eyes seem to be if a model of car can be considered a person. The 2017 Ford Taurus argues if a company can, so can it. This issue may raise some profound philosophical and ethical implications, we have yet to see the ramifications of such a landmark decision being made.

The Ford Motor Company has decided to remain silent on the issue, with a brief statement expressing the company’s interests. ”BUILT FORD TOUGH,” the statement read. As usual, we’ll be following this lawsuit and seeing where it goes from here. Best of luck to the 2017 Ford Taurus, anything is possible!
