Chrysler Pentastar V6 Unearthed in Archeological Dig

Off the coast of the Nile River, archeologists have made a remarkable discovery. An untouched tomb belonging to a yet un-named ancient Egyptian prince was discovered last week while surveying the land for a new irrigation installation. Countless artifacts from the early years of the ancient Egyptian empire have been carefully excavated, as well as yet another Chrysler Pentastar V6.

“We were thrilled to have made this discovery, however some of our colleagues are a little annoyed at the discovery of yet another Pentastar V6”, said head archologist Dr. Frank Ohe.

For those uninitiated troglodytes in the audience, the Chrysler Pentastar V6, which can be found in modern day Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep products, has been said to be of an “ancient design”. And historical evidence suggests that the motor is indeed quite old. Mention of the v6 have been seen globally through historical records through Europe’s history, dating back to the myths of ancient Greece. Historians have uncovered an original copy of Homer’s The Odyssey, where Zeus himself grants Odysseus a Chrysler Pentastar V6 to help him escape the Cyclops’s island, however this was seen as “too obvious” and “a cop out” back in its day.

The earliest records of the motor are though to originate in Sumerian Coniform tablets, with an angry customer complaining about how lousy he though the motor was.

It is thought the the Pentastar V6 has always been, as mention of the engine can be found almost every religious text throughout history. There is a debate, however, about whether or not the motor was native to the North American continent before the last ice age. Carbon dating of cave art seems to suggest a presence of engine was in the Americas first, and most anthropologists seem to agree that the V6 made its way across the Bering straight land bridge against the migration of humans from Eurasia into North America.

“We’re delighted to have found the existence of such an archaic item being used so many centuries ago, it really puts into frame how simple and unsophisticated the Pentastar is. We really attribute modern human-kind’s ability to loco-mote long distances to the Pentastar, thank you Chrysler gods!”

Some other important recent Pentastar discoveries include cave wall paintings found in the caves beneath Detroit. A local thrill seeker and urban explorer uncovered this drawing with the words “won’t start” carved next to it. The fumes of Detroit saved this piece, covering the rock in a film of gunk, allowing it to be carbon dated to over 13,000 years ago! It could be some of the first drawings in North America, considering the nature of it’s description.

Us at Mis-Shift will continue to report on any other Pentastar V6 discoveries. Considering the length of time this relic has been around, there will be plenty more being found! Some things never change.
