Nissan has had a long history of exciting Nismo products, and now their sporty 4-door sedan is getting the Nismo treatment as well!

Nissan has already pimped out their best selling car, the Sentra, with the whole Nismo package. Maybe the changes made there can help cue us into what this Altima will look and feel like. The king of its market, the Sentra Nismo comes with a gut-punching 188 hp to the front wheels. All of this gets pushed through an incredible CVT delivering the power directly to the asphalt. This, along with lower suspension and super sporty lookin’ wheels make the Sentra Nismo a top dog in sport sedans, competing against the WRX, M3 and others.

“If the Sentra is already at the top of the food chain, what can we expect from the Altima then?” we hear you asking. Well, get ready to have your socks blown off. We’re predicting a boost from the 248hp up to 300+hp, but here’s the kicker: going to all four wheels.

Yes, you heard us right. Our inside sources are telling us it’ll use the running gear from the Nissan Rouge AWD to create a miniature, less expensive GTR you can take to the track on Sunday and take the kids to school on Monday. Along with a super sick Nismo body kit using some left over pieces from the GTR that didn’t sell and cut springs that help achieve that “race car” look, the new Altima NISMO will be a new left lane warrior that none can compete with.
